Baker Creek ... more than just Heirloom Seeds

Most people know Baker Creek in Mansfield, MO for their heirloom seeds and exquisite, book-like seed catalogs loaded with informational articles and tid-bits about the seeds. 

Did you know that behind the seed store there is also a general store?  They carry items of interest to people who are passionate about organic gardening and a more sustainable life.

I'm so excited that they are carrying my 4 pack of medicinal salves!!

On the property, there is also an old-time apothecary with dried herbs and spices.  Next door to that is the flour mill where you can find hand-made period clothes and kitchen gear.  

The newly remodeled restaurant should be open soon and we can get back to the yummy vegetarian food!
